Data centres are colliding with Australia’s energy system. Join a candid look at the policy and practice finally taking shape

Data centres are colliding with Australia’s energy system, and after 12 months of debate, plus hard lessons from trials in Europe and the US, the policy and practice for managing that collision are finally taking shape.

This forum brings together the people helping set that direction, including Dominique van den Berg, Chief Executive of Energy Networks Australia, and Tim Jordan, Commissioner at the AEMC, with further speakers to be announced.

Together they’ll take a candid look at the policy, strategy and grid integration decisions that will determine whether data centres earn the social licence to scale in Australia, and whether energy consumers share in the benefit.

Light refreshments will be served at the event. Registration is essential.
